What was involved in this Interlock® Slate roof installation in Upper LaHave, NS?
This project used an Interlock® Slate system in Charcoal Grey on a home in Upper LaHave, NS, completed July 10, 2014. The project covered roughly 20 squares of roofing. The installers were in a rush to complete the job and as a result I had to have them remove and re-install part of the roof system on the rear of the house because it was not installed straight. When you looked up the roof the shingle butts did not line-up, also the starter strip in the peak joints do not appear to be beveled and aligned correctly. The crew that installed my roof was not as professional and quality concerned as the crew that installed my parents roof in 2013. In several places I can see under lay paper protruding from under the starter strip.
