“Overall, this was OK but there’s room for improvement. Carter indicated that we only needed to communicate with him. However, one of the guys on the installation on the crew told me that I should communicate with him about any thing I need or any problems that need to be resolved. Also, someone from the office called me once or twice about some related matters. So there was a bit of a contradiction there.”

“Good overall, except for a few snags. We had asked Carter for 10 extra snow guards after we placed our order. He assured us that this would be taken care of, but after the job was completed, I noticed that they were missing from our roof. So I’m not sure if this was due to his error or the crew’s. Although the crew did return pretty promptly to resolve this, we were a bit surprised that they asked us for a ladder upon their arrival. We had to scramble to borrow an appropriate ladder from a neighbour, and this was quite unexpected, and a bit awkward for us. We were able to borrow the ladder, and the crew was able to complete the work, but we were surprised that they did not have the proper equipment with them when they arrived.”
