This project used an Interlock® Cedar Shingle system in Black on a home in Stoney Creek, ON, completed July 13, 2020. The project covered roughly 25 squares of roofing. Luke and Jennifer H. rated the work 3 out of 5 in an independent survey conducted by GuildQuality on August 12, 2020. Sales Punctuality scored 5 out of 5, with the homeowner noting: “Bruce was always punctual, and returned calls extremely fast.” The installation was carried out by Interlock Roofing.
The product is second to none, and the final product looks stellar. Numerous challenges along the way that made us question things, but I can't argue with the final product. If I knew that the installers were individual contractors, we would have stood firm on waiting for a specific crew that was recommended due to some features of our roof. Would recommend the product, but would advise that installation will be an adventure. Communication around schedule changes. Fully understand weather/heat/delays can impact the job, but when it ends up being 3x as long, you begin to wonder what the problem is. Partner with a sunroof manufacturer so I don't have to go outside the sales process to find out what I need, and project manage that end. Also, it looks like I got a free "check out our roof" sign as it's still in my garage a month later.
