What was involved in this Interlock® Slate roof installation in Watertown, CT?
This project used an Interlock® Slate system in Deep Charcoal on a home in Watertown, CT, completed February 26, 2021. The project covered roughly 22 squares of roofing. Faye Z. rated the work 5 out of 5 in an independent survey conducted by GuildQuality on March 8, 2021. Communication scored 3 out of 5, with the homeowner noting: “I had agreed upon the scope of work it was verbally, and it was changed in my contract. I requested a full tear off, so they had to redo my contract.” The installation was carried out by Interlock Roofing.
The salesperson did not help the project along. I felt it would have been smoother if I was quoted the right amount, and I was told $13 sq ft, and I was charged $16 sq ft, and they did not put my complete tear off in my contract. It was frustrating as a customer, especially when things were having to be backtracked. I thought employees of interlock were going to do my project, and it was a subcontractor that came to do my installation. I was concerned. It has been 2 weeks and I have asked Jennifer twice now for photos. I have asked how I need to proceed having a contractor do the tuck pointing of my chimney.
