  We were looking towards metal (vs composite) roofing materials as we wanted an increase in fire resistance, and slippery surface to prevent fir needle gathering and moss growth resistance. The product looks great and sheds water and snow. We hope to see similar results with the fir needs and no moss growth. There has not been a noticeable increase in the sound of rain on the roof.
