  The roof looks great! The team brought in a hydraulic dumpster-type device that really helped so that they could scoop removed material directly into it instead of dumping it on the ground first. Using a drone during the initial estimate might be helpful, because it may allow for a more accurate estimate. (It would also allow you to have better "before" pictures, and might identify other problems, such as our needing to replace our chimney.)

  Communication was an issue. I had to call to ask when the project would start, finish and many times during the process after the contract was signed. Our project started almost one month after the promised time. They were relying on weather forecasts out of Salem (a 45 minute drive from our house) to base some of their work schedules around, even though I told them that the weather from Salem was not reflective of the weather at the work site.
