This project used an Interlock® Shingle system in Dark Green on a home in Madison, WI, completed September 17, 2014. The project covered roughly 34 squares of roofing. I have 2 areas of concern. I think the roof was well applied when Jesse was supervising. When he had to be away the quality of the workmanship deteriorated and the end product was poorly done. My complaints were acknowledged and repaired after the fact. I am very disappointed with the paint finish on the roofing tiles. Many are scratched before being put on the house and more scratched in the process. I would think the paint would be more durable. This seems like a defective product. I still see edges that are devoid of paint. I know it most likely doesn't affect if the metal will last as it is aluminum, since the paint isn't what keeps it from decaying as it would on a steel roof. It is just a matter of quality control.
