I got a call confirming the delivery of material without having heard, that the project would start soon from the project crew. Should be the other way round. So far we are very happy with our new roof. We hope that it will last for at least 50 years, that we won't have any problems and that you'll help us out if we have problems with a good and quick service as you promised.
I'm very impressed with the product and the installation. I'm also impressed with the follow up after the job was finished.
1. Be sure that crews communicate with the client when they will or will not be returning to the job site.2) Make certain any specific requirements that might be outside of the "typical" roof replacement are communicated to the installation crew (ie. the extra snow guards for solar panel tie-downs and the care required to locate them.3) Make certain the installation process leaves any adjustments to existing siding in the same state as original. This may mean specific provisions for extra care or automatically have on hand replacement siding. The sales representative emphasized that the interlock installation was carefully designed to provide a particularly weather proof interface in this area. If this is true, the installation should take extra care in this area. Interest has been expressed in our roof. We were asked how individual shingles could be permanent roofing. When we explained they were metal shingles, eyes light up. I am sure this will lead to further sales. The quiet young lad in charge of the installation crew the first couple of days was excellent. He seemed to know his work, had excellent leadership skills, and had the crew working well together. The rushed job to complete lead to dissatisfaction in some of the final work.
Perhaps to replace those installers who were either ill or on vacation in order to meet the anticipated completion time-frame. We are very pleased with our new roof. It is a showstopper. There has been lots of traffic during and after the installation as well as many neighbors inquiring about the roof and the material.
We are really satisfied with the job and it looks absolutely great.

At week 10 I had to reach out to Bob to find out what was going on. The roofing materials did show up in Mid Dec. As it was, installation did not occur until Dec 30 and Jan 6. The crew had to clean snow off twice.2. Hire more staff to install roofs.

I already have. I can't think of anything. Everything went really well. I'm really happy with the product. We went through the first snow, so I know everything went well.
