Usually, I don't have the time to write testimonials or reviews of any sort, but in this particular instance, I felt that I need to do so. We all know how stressful and expensive home renovation projects can be. Roofing replacement is one of the most important and also one of the most expensive. As the owner of quite a large apartment building in the established Glebe neighborhood in Ottawa, my project posed many challenges - proximity to adjacent buildings, a short timeframe and a very high degree of difficulty. Property management allowed me to surround myself with some exceptional trades, but "Interlock Roofing Systems" were unknown to me, just liked the product. The whole experience ended up being outstanding from the moment I met Dave Brown, the salesperson, Sheldon and Tony in the Service department. Professional, efficient, and responsive, but I must say that the crew that did the installation blew me away. Rick, Sandra, Al, James and Sheldon were among the nicest groups of people I've had the pleasure of dealing with in my property management and ownership experience. With their professional approach and respectful and knowledgeable conduct, Rick and the crew made me feel that I was getting outstanding work done by friends. Clean, fast, and efficient... worked in the pouring rain, wind, and freezing temperatures and finished a massive job in a week. We all know when someone goes that "extra mile," and that's what I end up getting from Rick and the guys. The result - OUTSTANDING. Thank you.

Following the installation of our new Interlock Roof (Slate Style in Green Color) in late summer 2010, we are pleased to report that we are completely satisfied with the look and appeal of the new roof in addition and, more notably, with the quality of the product and installation. The Interlock installers were quite competent and meticulous in their work and procedures as well as being quite forthcoming and courteous in providing answers to our questions. There was only one minor issue following the installation, and that was resolved on a very timely basis and explains our complete satisfaction with this new Interlock Roofing System on our summer home, originally built in 1940 on the 1000 Islands Parkway between Gananoque and Lansdowne. We are also grateful to Barry Brinson for arranging to have delivered to us a few more green Interlock tiles so that we can adapt and install them to the tops of the birdhouses found on the property! Based on this very positive experience and outcome, we wholeheartedly recommend the Interlock Roofing system/product and the professional installation crew that worked on our summer home in the 1000 Islands.

One of those lucky days that I followed a link from a Facebook post. We had immediate follow up and then an appointment scheduled quickly and conveniently with Derek. We had done our homework and we were impressed with Derek's information and approach. Our installation was scheduled quickly. The installers were excellent, personable, professional and very tidy. No mess left behind. After the first winter we are very happy. I would recommend for other to consider more roof guards. Although we are protected over doorways there were mountains from the slide in our garden and on back patio. Not critical but something to consider. Services: Roof installation

I had a new Interlock roof installed a few weeks ago and would like to express my appreciation for work well done. Your salesman, Mr. Barry Brinson, who was my first contact with Interlock, was impressive in his knowledge and experience. He gave me the confidence to deal with your establishment. He explained all roofing options and did not put any pressure on me to make an immediate decision. Your roofing team under Mr. John Caverley were quietly efficient and proceeded to do the job in a professional manner that gave me confidence in the quality of their workmanship. They left my property spotless after their clean-up. Please thank them all for me. My roof looks beautiful. It surpassed my expectations in terms of looks, and I know that its durability will not disappoint. Mr. Brinson did not mention one advantage to your roof, which both my wife and I enjoy: we love to hear the sound of the rain softly tapping on the roof. To summarize, I am glad I chose Interlock to do my roof. I could not have had a better team of roofers or a better product. Please express my appreciation to everyone involved for a job well done! Again, the communication fell short of my expectations, and part of that was because the materials were locked inside our garage, so someone had to be here to let them in. I had flexibility in my work, but I had other things to do than sit around for four days and get nothing done. That is not the crew's fault. I think that is an administration issue. They are trying to get jobs done and keep people happy, but if they communicate to let people know, that would be helpful. I had a leak, and they came and got that done, and I was happy with that, and if they had told me they had someone else to take care of a leak for, is that okay? That way, I would not be sitting around for a week waiting. It was not ideal. Communication would be the only thing that fell short of my expectations. The product is good and great. We've been really happy with it and have gotten a lot of remarks about it, and the mental roof is of very, very good quality. The key is the crew, and they did a good job in a challenging position. We’ve had massive snowfalls, and nothing is perfect. The flashing is coming off, and it's not a major issue as it's just the decorative flashing. We can go back up and hammer that in place in the spring, but they did a good job. I've left reviews in other places. We are thrilled and really do appreciate Interlock Roofing. We got the leak fixed and covered. That was great. They said November, and that wasn't happening, so we were concerned that may not happen. It was a relief to get that done before the snow came, so that was great. The crew was trying to make sure everyone who had contracts was getting things done, but I feel people are pretty lenient if that is communicated. Maybe I'm wrong and they just didn't show up, but they're hardworking guys, so I doubt it.

a better estimate on work completion... I was informed it would take 3-5 days & scheduled to be there but I was pleased the work was completed in a day & a half.... I am not sure what the crew supervisors name was John C something I asked him for a card but I was informed I could find him on the internet & that he had been on the Mike Holmes show...I think introducing himself would be more professional..otherwise I am quite satisfied with the work & cleanliness of the job site & the finished project

We looked at different alternatives to re-roof our house and we chose the Interlock roofing system because it represented the best value available. Barry Brinson answered all our questions when we met him on the Saturday afternoon of a long weekend.Shortly after the materials were delivered, John Caverley arrived with his crew and promptly proceeded to install the roof. He and his crew were thoroughly professional and their use of safety equipment was reassuring. The team was well integrated; they showed that they knew what they were doing and all proceeded without a hitch. They worked tirelessly and were done in one day.When they left, there were no nail, scrap or cigarette butts behind, only a brand new roof that is the envy of the neighborhood. After a few weeks, we can say that the roof is quiet, even with heavy rain, and the upstairs rooms are cooler on a hot day than was the case in the past.We would not hesitate to recommend an Interlock roof for its value and looks. Barry and John went out of their way to make it all happen to our complete satisfaction. Nothing comes to mind.
