We love the way the workers put plywood, then insulaltion and cushioning between the plywood and the aluminum and even another layer on the standing seam part. It would have been nice to know during the project that the crew was coming or not coming from one day to the next. Sometimes we got conflicting information. Sometimes they didn't come because they were doing a job somewhere else that took priority. I had this roof replaced in aluminum because I am almost 80, and I want to leave this beach house to my children and grandchildren and not have them have to replace the roof for the next 50 years. I bought the house almost 50 years ago and asphalt roofs do not last long with salt air and sea gulls.
We are happy with the results of our request. They changed the warranty to coincide with the personal trust.
