This project used an Interlock® metal roofing system on a home in Strathmore, AB, completed June 30, 2016. Presentation took a very long time on the durability/warranty, and the price was very glossed over. I was hoping for 1.5 to 2x the price of asphalt, and was told to expect 3+x the asphalt price. I was already aware of the specs from researching before requesting a quote, finding out the actual price was more important for me. I would have appreciated some more info/examples of how the product responds in our climate. Was told of someone who has had it for 10 years and their energy bills, but would be nice to see pictures after 10 years in Alberta, or stories of how the roof behaves in our typical weather.
