After install I asked if the top cap put on was adequate for the same type venting that it replaced. A man called and explained it was vented at the peak and I would be able to see this from inside the attic, which is not easy to access on my roof. He got stuck, ran over some of our ash trees, left deep ruts, and had to be pulled out. Some things were not explained in advance. The team brought in a hydraulic dumpster-type device that really helped so that they could scoop removed material directly into it instead of dumping it on the ground first. Using a drone during the initial estimate might be helpful, because it may allow for a more accurate estimate. (It would also allow you to have better "before" pictures, and might identify other problems, such as our needing to replace our chimney.)

What turned me off was an initial quote that was $7,200 more than final price. But the final quote was only available if I signed that day. That killed the deal.
