We were replacing a 20 plus year old roof on a 1935 home. The crew was amazing, it must of been the hottest week in May & they worked many long days the hot roof. Interlock Roofing-Seattle provided professional service and the people are easy to work with. If there are any issues on your side, they'll take care of it, and also answer your questions. It is a little difficult to interface with the Ukrainian workers, but it worked out using a translation app to communicate. They'll get better as they go, so it's not an issue; everybody needs to work! They have great workers and there were no problems. For composition type roofing, they do need a better magnet to pick up the nails. They could have improved the communication and clean-up pertaining to picking up nails. It was a great experience! They have great crews!
I don't know that there was anything that could have been done better. It looks beautiful. I have had dozens of compliments. Everything is functioning well during bad weather. I give the entire experience an A+! I have to also add, Jonathan, our sales representative was also very charming, lovely, and easy to work with. Lastly, there was a lovely woman from British Columbia in the office who was very nice. The entire experience was very nice!
I would like to go with them, but I haven't yet because of different things I found on the internet regarding the warranty and how other people's reviews state that the roofs leak and the company doesn't follow through with replacing the roof.
The crew could have improved a little bit by better communicating their schedule, but every time that we asked them, they certainly told us exactly what was going on because they had some weather complications which were not their fault.
We had ordered an opening skylight, when it came it did not fit. The roofers put in a non opening one and said they would try to find one that fit. To this date we have not heard from them, or the company regarding that skylight. It seems there should be a refund of the difference in the price between the non-opening one and the opening one. I am happy with the roof, I just want either a skylight that opens or a refund of the difference in the price.

I used them 10 years ago and I didn't have any problems but this situation is not good. They are not trying to fix the situation. The communication is one place they can improve by calling back their customers. I think they need to give a full disclosure of the products and the materials they used. I haven't been able to get a break down of the materials they used on my project. I just hope they really did my roof properly and didn't leave other pieces of rotten wood up on the roof covered up. I am hoping that the roof is done honorable and I am not having to contact them in 5 years with problems because they didn't put the roof up properly.
